Description
The business lead is the business receiver for the project WL Camstar Phase 2. He or she will coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Quality Engineering, and will be the liaison between these teams and the Camstar project team.
The scope of the WL Camstar Phase 2 covers the replacement of FactoryWorks with Camstar in the following areas – Draw and fiber processing through RTS. In Phase 2, the Cleanroom remains in FactoryWorks – its migration will be done in phase 3.
The support of the Cleanroom is in scope. This includes inducting Camstar fibers into the Cleanroom, RTS of spans, inducting D reels generated in the Cleanroom back into Camstar, inducting terrestrial fibers for recoat audits, and running terrestrial fibers being colored in the Cleanroom in Camstar.

Among the responsibilities of the business lead will be to:
Be the final receiver of the Camstar product in the plant
Be the primary point of contact for Operations, Engineering and Quality Engineering (the “Stakeholder”)
Prepare for organizational changes – ensures that ETQ and LARs are updated, and that training is carried out.
Involved in all change requests from Operations, Engineering, and Quality to our legacy FactoryWorks system to help prioritize between Camstar and plant and corporate projects. New projects implemented in our legacy FactoryWorks systems will affect the WL Camstar Phase 2 project timeline due to resources being taken away from the project and due to changes having to be developed and tested in both the FactoryWorks and Camstar systems.
Helps review user acceptance test plans with stakeholders
Coordinates with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and rollout of the Camstar system, including:
Holding daily review meetings, and tracking and prioritizing issues
Obtaining Ops, Engineering, QE resourcing to help in testing
Helping with testing of applications, and ensuring that the data is correct
Ensuring that production reports, control charts and engineering databases (PHD, MDW) are accurate
